Hello all,



I am new to MDR.I want some information about MDR.

I want to know that is MDR is alternative of JMI? Also I want some
tutorials and study materials of MDR.

Hi Vikas,

MDR is an implementation of JMI. However, the project seems to be no
longer maintained. I'd suggest looking at the (also Java-based) EMF
framework (www.eclipse.org/emf) for a better alternative that is
supported by a vibrant community.

NB. Although it may at first appear that EMF is bound to Eclipse, the
EMF jars can be also used in plain standalone Java applications.
